Frederick Short Ewing

Grandpa Ewing was an accomplished basket maker and would make the white oak strips himself.  Information given to me by Jeff Short, Oct 2020 when he sent a picture of F.S. weaving baskets. His death certificate indicates that he died in St Joseph's Infirmary. He must have died alone at the age of 93. It was said that he was not a pleasant person. The informant was Pauline Allen. I've never come across anyone of that name in my research. Pauline gave his mother's name as Anne Hines.  None of the other information that I have about Frederick indicates Anne Hines as his mother's name. MORE RESEARCH NEEDED HERE. I believe that Pauline was outside of the family.
