I found that my Witts (Whitts) are connected through the Vineyards on my Quillin (daddy) side and to my Hulsey (mother) side. It's been fascinating to establish those connections.
John Vineyard (1791-1855)

biography was taken from Find A Grave:[1]
John married Malinda Whitt who was born circa 1810 in Montgomery Co, Virginia. They were married on 6 Feb 1827 in Montgomery Co., VA. [2] John and Malinda had eight known children: George Washington Vineyard, John T. Vineyard, Jr., William Vineyard, Richard W. Vineyard, Mary Vineyard, Gordon Vineyard, Peyton Vineyard, and Malinda Vineyard.
They were still living in Montgomery County with their young family in 1830. [3]
John and his family moved to Moniteau County, Missouri and received a land patent on 10 Nov 1841. [4] They are listed in the 1850 census in Moniteau County [5]
